Since pencils are one of my favorite tools for drawing, I really wanted to make a design and sticker out of it! While I was designing I wondered why the color yellow was used and my research brought me to the follow facts.
During the 1800s, the best graphite in the world came from China. In China the color yellow is associated with respect and royalty. So, companies used the color yellow as a way of indicating that their pencils were made with superior Chinese graphite.
Super interesting! I just love yellow pencils because the color makes me happy hehe.
